Match Report: AC Milan 2-1 Siena

AC Milan took on cellar dweller Siena today at the San Siro. The Rossoneri were able to take all three points thanks to inspired sub Bojan and a converted penalty from Giampaolo Pazzini. Check the full article for the full report plus video highlights.

The turning point for the match was a big save from close range from Abbiati in the 62nd minute. The match was stuck on nil nil, and Abbiati did tremendously well do stop a driven effort from 6 yards out on the angle. The opening goal was scored under a bit of controversy, with Siena believing they should have been awarded a foul seconds earlier. Boateng swung in an inch perfect cross for Bojan to head home at the near post. On 80 minutes, Pazzini won and converted a pen from a rather clumsy and innocuous foul by Filipe. The Italian blasted his spot kick home from 12 yards and looked to have secured the three points comfortably. However, 7 minutes later, Siena sub Paolucci headed home a cross to make the last few minutes frantic. Milan did well to defend the final onslaught and will be pleased with the three points.
