AC Milan have been linked with Mathieu Debuchy.
The French defender features at right back for a Lille defense that has conceded 38 in 37 matches this Ligue 1 campaign, good for 4th best, and six goals during the Champion’s League group stage better than group winner Inter (7) and runner-up CSKA Moscow (8).
He scored six goals in the league, a great return for a defender. However, he has been booked 11 times this season, almost 30% of the matches played. Serie A officials have looked shaky of late, handing out their share of soft yellows, so Debuchy must improve in his discipline and reading of the game. Maxifoot.fr reports that Lille values Debuchy at eight million euros. Galliani would be able to work some magic and seal it for five or more likely 2.5 million euros and co-ownership of Rodney Strasser or Gianmario Comi.
