AC Milan will meet at Milanello July 9th,  2012 for physical evaluations and tests. The Rossoneri will be playing Bundesliga side Schalke 04 on July 24th and 27th. The next day, the 28th, AC Milan confirmed they will be playing in Miami before two more games in Philadelphia. The match in Miami will be against UEFA Champions League Winner Chelsea FC at Sun Life Stadium (mlssoccer.com, epltalk.com, football-italia.net). AC Milan will be in the United States until August 8th, so get your tickets and check out the red and blacks live.

I will do my best to make it out to a game and write a report on the experience. I had a chance to watch them several years ago in Atlanta, Georgia in a friendly against Club America. Ronaldinho was the star of the show, dazzling everyone with his dribbling and magic. AC Milan drew 2-2 after allowing two soft goals, with Oguchi Onyewu getting beaten in the air by a player half his size.

To conclude the tour, AC Milan will take on Real Madrid on August 8th at Yankees Stadium, Bronx, NY. I will definitely be going to this match to watch the two most decorated teams in European football warm up their engines in a summer friendly. Links for tickets coming soon.

  1. Thanks, milansoccer. I hope you can find out the name of the hotel.

  2. Where exactly will Milan play in Philadelphia? Do you also happen to know where they are staying? Thanks!

    • The last I heard they were playing at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles. It’s where I saw them play last when they visited. I’ll see if I can find out which hotel they are using.

I'd love to hear what you think. Please share
